For incoming freshmen and transfers and those of you who missed out on the t-shirts we sold at the end of last semester, we’re offering them once more! There’s a limited amount in XL, L, M, and S. Offers will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The price is $15 per shirt; payments are only available via Paypal.

Every year, we host a biannual picnic during which we grill burgers, play games, visit the beach, and generally enjoy ourselves at Sunken Meadow State Park. We’ll also be hosting a dessert-off (registration below): MSA members bring their best home-baked goods and several judges (from the general body) will select their favorites. The winner, along with the runners-up, will receive a prize.

Time: 3:30pm (that means everyone needs to leave after Jumu’ah at 2:30! Carpool info below)
Location: Sunken Meadow State Park (directions below and available at Jumu’ah the day of)

Ramadan has come and gone, and insha’Allah we all made the best of it. Now it’s time to celebrate with the MSA’s Eid Banquet! Join us for a night of quality food and homegrown entertainment (and for the sisters, a gift exchange), and don’t forget to dress up (we’ll have dividers separating brothers and sisters insha’Allah)!

All performances will be screened and shown onstage in front of both genders, so keep it halal and appropriate. Some ideas: a video, comedy skit, poetry or spoken word recitation. We know you have talent, so showcase it!
Sisters: The sign up sheet for the Secret Eid exchange is in the prayer room. Alternately, you can email Sumaiya (sumaiya.iq [at] gmail [dot] com) if you’re interested. Once sign ups are over, everyone will be assigned a random person to buy a gift for. The maximum price for a gift is $20, and they’ll be exchanged during the banquet.
