‘Ashura Iftar
Rasulullah SalAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam said, “Fasting the day of ‘Arafah I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year before it and the year after it, and fasting the day of ‘Ashoora’ I hope Allaah will expiate thereby for the year that came before it.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162
Fasting on the day before (9th of Muharram) and the day of ‘Ashoora (the 10th of Muharram) was a practice of Rasulullah, SalAllahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam, (The Messenger of Allah, Peace Be upon him) that has immense reward!. In light of such days of fasting, we will, inshaAllah be providing Iftar, tomorrow in the Prayer Room. Come on down a share a free meal with the people you love!
