Concerning books,
The Stony Brook Bookstore does not buy back old editions of textbooks, and most of the time there is no change in the text if a new edition comes out. Usually only the cover, layout, and visual graphics are changed. So it's not like the books are outdated. I have several huge science books that fall into this category. Thus I thought the MSA could sponsor a huge shipping of textbooks to Books for Baghdad where science textbooks are desired and used in Iraqi Universities:

Sounds like a good idea if we get enough interest insha'Allah. I actually don't sell my books back to the University- I usually sell them online :-/ so I would not know anything about their rates. However, we can see what people think of the idea insha'Allah.
